“丝绸之路，我梦想之路;丝绸之路，全世界繁荣之路;一带一路，牵着手，世界一起走;成就了我们的青春梦想，实现在眼前……”每当这段旋律在耳畔响起，萨摩亚留学生安雅总会想起和合唱团伙伴们并肩创作《梦想之路》的时光。
"TheSilk Road, the road of my dreams;TheSilk Road, the pathtoglobal prosperity;Along theBelt and RoadInitiative, hand in hand, the world walks together; It makes my dreams come true, right in front of my eyes......"Whenever this melody plays, Anya, a Samoainternational student, is instantly taken back to the days she spent creating the song"Road of Our Dreams"with her choir friends.

作为留学生，安雅与中国的缘分早已深埋心底。她的8个兄弟姐妹中，有4人曾赴华留学，“哥哥姐姐总跟我讲中国的故事，街头的烟火气、人们的热忱善良，都让我从小就对这个遥远的国度充满向往”。2019年，这份向往化作现实，安雅凭借中国政府奖学金，先后走进对外经济贸易大学、天津工业大学求学。在天津的日子里，她感受到这座城市的活力与温情，“天津的美，既有古文化街的底蕴，也有现代都市的朝气;天津人的热情，让我快速融入这里，让天津成为我的第二故乡”。
As an international student, Anya's connection with China began long before she arrived. Among her eight siblings, four have studied in China."My brothers and sisters always told me stories about China,the lively streets,andthe warmth and kindness of the people. Since I was little, I dreamed of seeing this faraway country myself."In 2019, that dream finally came true. With a Chinese Government Scholarship, Anya studied at the University of International Business and Economics and later atTiangongUniversity. Tianjin quickly won her heartwith its vitality and warmth."The city has both the charm of itsancientcultural street and the energy of a modern metropolis. And Tianjin people are so warm;they helped me feel at home right away, andTianjin became my second hometown."

学业生活之余，安雅积极参加文化艺术活动。《梦想之路》的诞生，就源于她所在的合唱团的一次线下相聚。2020年12月，一群热爱音乐的来华留学生跨越时空阻隔，组建起留学中国“云”合唱团。他们来自不同国度、有着不同肤色，说着不同语言，却因音乐结缘、因丝路相聚，隔着屏幕唱歌、交流，虽素未谋面，却在旋律中收获了跨越国界的默契与情谊。2023年，恰逢共建“一带一路”倡议提出10周年，合唱团成员们的一次线下相聚，大家围坐在一起，分享着各自国家参与共建“一带一路”的发展故事，诉说着在华求学的所见所闻所感。安雅心中萌生了一个念头：创作一首歌曲，把这份跨越山海的情谊、对“一带一路”的美好期许，以及在华感受到的温暖与力量，唱给世界听。
In her spare time, Anya threw herself into cultural and artistic activities. The idea for"Road of Our Dreams"came from an offline gathering of her choir. Back in December 2020, a group of music-loving international students formed the"StudyinChina Cloud Choir,"overcoming distance and timezones. They came fromdiversecountries, with different skin colors and languages, yet musicand the BRIbrought them together. They sang andtalked through screens, building bonds across cultureseven before meeting in person.In 2023,onthe 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, the choir finally met offline. Sitting together, they shared stories of how their home countries had participated in theBRI, and talked about their experiences studying in China. That's when Anya had an idea:Why not write a song that captures thisfriendship acrossborders, their hopes for the BRI, and the warmth and strength they felt in China,and share it with the world.

成员们一拍即合，说干就干!他们迅速行动起来，但创作过程远比想象中困难。“云”合唱团团长、韩国留学生申文燮坦言，仅参与创作的人员选拔就耗时近一个月，而填词谱曲、MV策划拍摄的难题更是接踵而至。更特别的是，来自世界各地的留学生，都希望将自己祖国与“一带一路”相关的独特记忆、真切感受融入作品，分歧与碰撞在所难免。成员们没有因分歧退缩，反而主动放下己见、耐心磨合，利用课余时间，跨越地域阻隔线上相聚，认真倾听彼此的故事，细细打磨每一句歌词、每一段旋律，将各自心中对中国的热爱、对丝路的期许，一点点融入作品的每一个细节。“国与国、人与人之间的隔阂，在音乐响起的瞬间都消失了”，申文燮的感慨，道出了所有成员的心声，也见证着他们在包容协作中，对“一带一路”“互利共赢”理念的深刻理解。
Everyone loved the idea. They got downto work immediately,but the process was far more challenging than expected. According to the choir leader, Korean student Shin Moon-sub, even selecting who would join the team took nearly a month. Writing lyrics, composing music, planning and filming the MV,each step came with new challenges.What made it even more special was that students from all over the world wanted to include memories and feelingsof howthe BRI was involved with their owncountries. Differences were inevitable. But instead of backing away, they chose patience and collaboration. They met online after classes, listened to one another's, stories, and refined every line and melody. Bit by bit, they poured their love for China and their hopes for theBelt and Road Initiativeinto the song."When the music starts, all the barriers between countries and people just fade away,"Shin said. His words captured what everyone felt,andalsoreflected their deeper understanding of the BRIspirit of cooperation and mutual benefit.

歌曲的创作，让留学生在协作中加深了对中国的认知——他们看到，中国始终以开放包容的姿态，搭建起各国交流合作的桥梁;他们读懂，“一带一路”从来不是一句口号，而是中国与世界各国携手发展、共享繁荣的真实实践。在这段经历中，他们不再是中国的“旁观者”，而是中外友好的“参与者”、丝路精神的“传承者”，在交往交融中，真切感受到中国的温暖与担当，读懂了中国“和平发展、互利共赢”的初心。
Creating the song also helped the students understand China betterand deeper. They saw how China embraces the world with openness and inclusiveness, building bridges forcommunication andcooperation. They realizedthatthe Belt and RoadInitiativeisn't just a slogan;itistangible, shared developmentof China and countries across the world. Through this experience, they are no longer mere onlookers of China, but active participants in China’s friendship with the world and inheritors of theBRIspirit. Through exchanges and culturalintegration, they have truly felt China’s warmth and sense ofresponsibility, and come to understand China’swishof pursuing peaceful development and mutual benefit for all.

在共建“一带一路”倡议的感召下，中国高校敞开大门，以多样形式吸纳共建国家来华留学生，“丝绸之路”中国政府奖学金，为无数外国青年逐梦中国搭建了桥梁，共建“一带一路”国家来华留学人数持续攀升。越来越多像安雅、申文燮一样的外国青年，来到中国，学习中国知识，感受中国温度，感受中外情谊，读懂中国担当。他们用自己的方式，讲述中国故事、传递中国声音，让世界看到中国的开放与包容、温暖与力量。
Inspired by the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese universities have opened their doors wider, offering diverse opportunities for students from partner countries. The Silk RoadChinese GovernmentScholarship has helped countless young peoplepursuetheir dreams in China. More and more students like Anya and Shin are coming to China,learningChinese knowledge, experiencingChinesewarmth,feelingChina'sfriendship, and understanding China'sresponsibility. They tell China's stories in their own ways, letting the world see a China that is open, inclusive, warm, and strong.
